JSON as the single source of truth

Every presentation is a versioned JSON document, validated against a strict schema. The on-screen preview and the PowerPoint export are two independent renderings of the same document: what you see is faithfully what gets exported.

Preview and AI captures rendered natively (Qt) — no Chromium to install, a real advantage on a locked-down machine.
Round-trip tested PowerPoint export: every JSON element becomes a real PowerPoint object, never a frozen image.
Percentage-based coordinates and semantic roles per element — layout stays consistent regardless of resolution.

Generation

AI that reads your data before it writes

Describe your need and attach your source files: SlydeForge extracts usable content before the AI is even called.

Supported formats: .xlsx/.xlsm, .csv/.tsv, .pptx, .docx, .pdf, .txt/.md, images.
Extraction of values, indicators, statuses and flagged items — the AI generates by citing exact figures.
The AI writes, SlydeForge lays out: layout computed from your brand kit and its slide templates, in every format, with no overflowing text — fast and token-efficient.
Images attached to the brief placed on slides, web links actually read as sources; optionally, transitions, animations, speaker notes and AI images from the very first generation.
Slide language chosen in the brief (5 languages), then respected by AI edits and speaker notes.
Challenge the brief before generating (what the AI understood, a proposed outline, a few questions, an improved brief) and extract the brief of an edited project to reread it, challenge it and start over from scratch.

Properties panel that adapts to the selected element type, and edits several objects at once.

Routines

Your recurring requests, ready in one click

The monthly review, the client presentation, the project update… Save the request that works once, then run it again by filling in only what changes.

Variables such as {{Client}}, {{Date}} or {{Objective}}: a small window asks for them each time, pre-filled with last time's values.
Suitable fields: a calendar for dates (written out in full), choice lists, and web addresses whose page is read to feed the content.
Value sets: save a client's information once ("ACME") and recall it in one click; files requested by the routine are attached automatically.
✨ Improve: the AI challenges a vague routine and suggests a more precise version (goal, audience, structure, expected action), without inventing anything — you decide whether to keep it.
Multilingual: one version per language, variables included; the version in the presentation's language is the one used.
Three ways in: the Routines menu, the /routine command in the assistant, or the Routine field when starting a presentation.
Always reviewed before sending: a routine prepares the request, it never goes out without you. A "Client presentation" routine is provided to get started.

Brand theme

A visual identity applied everywhere, automatically

Colors by role, fonts, sizes, bullets, logo — the theme isn't optional decoration, it drives generation itself.

Multi-file AI analysis: derive a complete theme from a logo, an existing PowerPoint, or screenshots.
Dynamic extraction from a corporate PPTX: embedded images and real layout names, reused as raw material.
Custom slide types with full styling, reusable in one click.
Theme library shared across projects, configurable default theme.
Logo placed automatically on every slide, on screen and in the export.

Ambiances

A presentation that doesn't look like your neighbour's

20 complete styles — magazine, tech, bento, luxury, aurora… — applied to your brand colour, not frozen themes. Changing them is instant and uses no tokens.

Different compositions for each slide type (covers, cards, key figures, key points, processes, conclusion…), with decorations and fonts specific to each ambiance.
Free adjustments: Plain ↔ Bold, Airy ↔ Dense, Light ↔ Dark, Angular ↔ Rounded sliders, colours, another variant, gradient or solid background.
Change the ambiance of an existing brand kit with a template-by-template before / after; your slide templates are adapted, not overwritten.
From the assistant: type /ambiance, “darker”, “magazine style” — no tokens.
Deck rhythm alternates the compositions of slides that come back: the presentation looks designed, not generated.
Native PowerPoint gradients, still editable; portable fonts by default, advanced fonts optional.

Images

Three image sources, one interface

A unified three-tab dialog, wherever you enter it from (insert or replace).

Library: theme images and images already used in the project.
Royalty-free search (Unsplash, Pexels), photographer credit shown automatically; the Photo button offers several photos already built into the slide.
AI generation (DALL·E / Azure OpenAI or a compatible service, local ones included); the Illustration button offers several images already built into the slide, after a cost warning.

Animation & presenting

From a static slide to a full show

A real staging engine: animations played in the slideshow, Morph transition, kinetic typography and animated backgrounds — then exported to PowerPoint.

Animations really played in the SlydeForge slideshow: fade, rise up, pop, bounce, mask reveal… with text that always stays sharp.
Staging window: 5 motion styles (Corporate subtle, Keynote, Tech neon, Editorial luxury, Social energetic), 3 intensities and an animated preview of the current slide. Included in every subscription, from Essential.
Morph transition: elements shared by two slides glide and transform; exported as a real PowerPoint 2019 / 365 Morph.
A gallery of 46 transitions with animated thumbnails (3D cube, flip, fade through black, curtains…), filterable by category or keyword, with direction and duration settings — applicable to several slides at once.
Kinetic typography (line by line, word by word, letter by letter) and living data: rolling counters, highlight, charts that draw themselves.
Animated backgrounds in your theme colors (mesh gradient, soft glow, film grain, particles) and slow zoom on background images.
Presenter mode with timing, a "next click" line and a multi-monitor screen selector.
AI-suggested presenter notes, aware of the actual number of animation steps.
[[anim]] tags in the notes: voice narration triggers the animation at exactly the right moment.

The .pptx export faithfully matches what's shown in the application.

Every JSON element becomes a real PowerPoint object: textbox, shape, image, table, native chart.
Colors, borders, drop shadows and image fit (whole, cropped or stretched) identical to the on-screen view.
Transitions and animations exported as native PowerPoint effects, Morph included; groups and speaker notes kept.
Ready-to-use file name and export folder, easy to find and clean up.

Built for the enterprise

Designed for the locked-down workstation

Many tools assume free internet access and administrator rights. SlydeForge is designed to work just as well on a locked-down workstation — an SSL inspection proxy, restricted internet access, no admin rights — without cutting any corners.

Trusts the Windows certificate store (truststore): SSL works behind an inspection proxy without disabling anything.
User-mode installation, no administrator rights required.
Network-drive-compatible launcher (UNC), automatic dependency check and install on first run.
Per-user configuration and data (%APPDATA%) — a shared install never mixes up accounts.
3 personal AI connectors to choose from (subscribers, from Essential): GitHub Copilot Enterprise, GitHub Models, or any OpenAI-compatible API (Azure OpenAI, Ollama, an internal endpoint) — you stay in control of your data.
